I really like this lesson LeeAnn- such a valuable, life long skill for students. Of course, one day paper money will be obsolete since technology is taking over, even so, students still need to understand how money works! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteShanna, I like your lesson plan and how it connects math to the real world. It seem like a good hook to get the students involved in setting up a student store. An idea to go global is to compare the value of currency in other countries and see what they can purchase with the currency.
